How we got our first Frenchie
I love Dog Fancy magazine and one day I was looking in it almost 5 years ago, and I saw the cutest little dog in there. I'd never seen one before, and it had what looked like rabbit ears. But of course, it was the most distinctive features on this puppy and it was called the "Bat" ears. I just fell in love with this dog, kinda reminded me of the pugs, so I started doing my research on them. I wanted them really bad.
I love that they love everyone, children, older people, and all ages to love and have fun with. They just had that pugnacious expression or look about them. They are very friendly, loving little clown's to just be adored. I like their flat muzzles, pug noses, and they are easy to train. I like it that they are small, and shed less, short hair, heavy bone, they to me just look like tiny little canine body builders!
Well, to find them was another story. I'd looked in Florida and could not find any in the papers. Now that is all you see in all papers. They are getting very much popular, too much I think. I do hope everyone knows getting a puppy is a lifetime commitment! Well, I'd been saving my money for 3 years, a little at a time, to try and buy myself a SUV so that I could travel with my pugs. I'm from Florida, and my son and his family live in Stockbridge, Mi. So, to cut it short, there went my $5,000 savings, because I found Maggie in Georgia and had to have her, and then a year later I found my Majestical King Louie (shown left) in Milton, Florida. And that is how I got my French Bulldog's!
Below is a photo of Sweet Magnolia Chanel, a.k.a. "Maggie" and Sir Kasmere's Tango & Jock a.k.a. "Bubba". Bubba is the stud to our puppies. He is from Cox bloodlines and has many more AKC champions in his pedigree (view his brother Zeke's pedigree). He is honey pied.
